Kate McDermott

Kate is a GYROTONIC® apprentice at Motion Arts. She is also an accomplished figure skater -a national level competitor and medalist in ice dancing. She has achieved her Gold medal in both ice dance and Free Skating and has trained and performed all over the country.

Kate was first introduced to Gyrotonic by Veronique Breen and has trained extensively at the studio since it's opening in 2005. Kate is also a student at Simmons College where she is majoring in Physical Therapy. Kate's knowledge of body movement, combined with her extensive knowledge of skating technique, makes her an excellent resource for skaters and active people.
